I get requests for link exchanges all the time. But as you might remember, I don’t believe in link exchanges. Most requests get a terse “Thanks, but no thanks.” For me, a link on my site is more for me than a mutual promotion tool. It says “Hey, Wandering Justin! This blog is cool, and this is your reminder to check it out.”
That’s why I’m giving Dressed in Dirt a rare and coveted link in my blogroll. It’s genuinely informative. It’s fun to read. It’s not there to simply hawk products.
I wish I would’ve discovered it six months ago. The knowledge there would’ve been a great help for planning my trip to Iceland – at least the backpacking aspects of it. If you’re into backpacking – and especially if you’re just getting started – this Dressed in Dirt is a must-read.
Addy and Erin, great work!

Thanks for the shout-out! Your blog looks pretty great, too. Perhaps we will meet on the trail one day.

You’re very welcome, Addy. I’m learning some great stuff your site. If you’re ever in Arizona, definitely give me a yell.
